Part A -- Anagram Riddles

       The answer to each of these riddles is an anagram. That is, one word is formed from the letters of another word by changing their order, for example HOSE into SHOE. So, the answer to "What do you use to wash your footwear?" might be SHOE HOSE.

       Take two words, and arrange all of their letters to form the name of an animal. Now, delete one letter from each of the two words, and rearrange each of them to form two new words. Arrange all of their letters to form the name of another animal.   [Answer]

Opposite (contributed by Sudipta Das)
       There is a well-known phrase consisting of two 7-letter words that have opposite meanings. Delete the last two letters from each of these words. Arrange the deleted letters to form a 4-letter word, and arrange the remaining letters to form a 10-letter word closely related to the original phrase.   [Answer]

Gambling (contributed by Sudipta Das)
       Take the name of a famous fictional detective, and arrange the letters to form the name of a place where you might find gambling, and a person who might work there.   [Answer]

       Rearrange the letters in each of the following phrases so that they spell a single English word. For example, the letters of TEA GUARD can be rearranged to spell GRADUATE.
