       When you solve a puzzle interactively on our website, once you complete the puzzle a line of text will appear in large type at the bottom of the page. This line identifies the puzzle and has a code that shows that you solved the puzzle. Just copy the entire line into an email, give your name, and send it to contestcen@aol.com That's it. You can ignore the rest of these instructions.

       If you solve the puzzle using paper and pencil, the easiest method to submit the answer is to type the answer into an email and send it to contestcen@aol.com Please give the name and date of the puzzle, and give your name the way you want it to appear in the Solvers List.

       If you solve the puzzle using paper and pencil, you will need to copy your entire answer into the email. Enclose your answer in <pre> and </pre> HTML tags to assure proper formatting. [NOTE: you need to make sure that your email writer keeps the <pre> and </pre> as HTML tags, and does not convert them to text. If that happens, my email reader will not know they were intended to be HTML tags. It will not format your email correctly. The next best thing is to highlight your entire answer and change it to Courier font. (Also, complain to your ISP about this problem. If enough people complain, it just might get fixed.)]

Other methods that can be used are to copy the puzzle grid from the SumSum website and type your answer into the grid boxes, or to print out the puzzle grid, hand-write your answer into the grid, and then scan it.
